With over 100 million monthly active users, there’s always something to do in Roblox. But what if you want to call it a day and delete your account? Here’s everything you need to know about how to delete a Roblox account or what’s required to deactivate the account.

How to Delete Your Roblox Account

Roblox doesn’t offer a straightforward service for deleting your account. On its Help section, it explains you can just stop playing, but there are a few more options available if you’d rather have more control:

  • Email Roblox Customer Care: Email Roblox Customer Care at info@roblox.com and make a request to have your account deleted.Call Roblox Customer Support: Prefer to talk to someone on the phone? Call Roblox at 888-858-BLOX and request to have your account deleted.

  • Don’t Use Your Account: Avoid using your Roblox account for a year, and Roblox identifies it as an inactive account and deletes it for you. It’s a slow solution, but it’s guaranteed to work.

  • Break the Terms and Conditions: We don’t recommend this method, but if you get your account banned three times, your account is ultimately deleted by Roblox. This isn’t a friendly way of doing things, but if all other options fail, it is an option.

How to Uninstall Roblox

If you’ve deleted or abandoned your Roblox account, you probably also want to remove its software. It’s as easy as removing any other piece of software. Windows and Mac have different instructions for uninstalling software, but it takes seconds to do.

When emailing or calling Roblox Customer Care, you need to provide your email, full name, a phone number associated with your account, and address. It’s also good to have anything else on hand that identifies you as the owner of the account.

Don’t be tempted to log in at any point during the year, otherwise, the timer will reset and you’ll have to wait another year.

Android and iOS users have a slightly different method for uninstalling apps, but it’s similarly simple.

How to Restore a Deleted Roblox Account

If you’ve changed your mind about an account you’ve deleted, there’s one option available to you that may get your account restored.

Want to be extra thorough on Windows? Roblox recommends you navigate to C:\Users(Your Windows Username)\AppData\Local to delete the Roblox folder. Mac users should go to Documents and delete the Roblox folder there.

  • Email appeals@roblox.com and explain the situation.
  • Provide as much detail as possible about your old account and explain why you’d like it restored.
  • Hope for the best! There’s no guarantee your data is still available, but it’s worth asking in case.
